BE PART
OF THE ROAD.
It started as ten marathons in ten days. Then we mapped it properly — and it became twelve consecutive days, 350+ miles, a 47-mile day through the Suisse Normande, and a route threaded from each Dorset town to its French twin through a thousand years of shared history. Everything is planned. Now The Long Road Back needs sponsors to make it happen — and every sponsor is named across all campaign content, from Bridport to Paris.
That is the commitment — and it is the thing that makes sponsoring The Long Road Back different. Your money keeps the team moving. The public’s donations go entirely to Fortuneswell Cancer Ward, Prince of Wales Renal Ward, and MIND.
Sponsors are named in every piece of content across the campaign — from the first post in September 2026 to the finish line at the Arc de Triomphe in April 2028.

Choose Your Day
Every day of the route has its own page: the map, the history, the drone shots, the content plan, and exactly what your name is on. Pick a day to see it in full, then send an enquiry with that day already selected.
What Sponsorship Looks Like
Both runners wear sponsor-branded kit for all 12 days. Every photograph — from Bridport to Paris — carries your branding naturally, without it feeling like an ad.
12 consecutive days of content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Strava, with French-language cuts on the France days. Morning posts, mid-stage check-ins, landmark photos, drone footage, end-of-stage recaps. Alan McNamee is lead photographer for all 12 days, and Andy Potter is a professional photographer too — quality is not a problem.
Supporters will be able to follow the runners live by GPS, with sponsor names in the interface. A dedicated supporter app is planned — and an App Partner slot is open for the brand that wants to make it happen.
Named on the campaign website from the point of agreement through to the post-campaign retrospective. Visible to press, potential supporters, and follow-on sponsors.
The finish at the Arc de Triomphe is the most photographed moment of the campaign. Title Sponsor branding is present. Friends and family travel to Paris. Alan McNamee on camera. The moment the whole campaign existed for.
Named in the final campaign report and charity fundraising documentation sent to Fortuneswell Cancer Ward, Prince of Wales Renal Ward, and MIND. A permanent record.
